Way back in the summer of '91, Earl and Fern Horst set out to make a difference in grain handling. With a strong work ethic and a small welding shop, they founded Horst Systems in Elmira and focused on creating practical, reliable solutions for everyday grain handling challenges.
Earl and Fern built Horst Systems on a commitment to quality and smart design. Horst quickly became a trusted name in the agricultural community.
By 2002, the demand for Horst Systems' products and expertise had grown to warrant an expansion into a larger facility on Florapine Road. By 2012, the growth had continued enough to expand into the current facility on Union Street in Elmira and an Eastern Ontario facility in Winchester. These moves have allowed us to bring more innovative solutions to farmers across Ontario.
