Hensall District Co-operative has increased their storage at the Londesborough facility with the addition of a GSI 105-27 commercial storage tank. This large bin has a maximum capacity of 593,752 bushels. Along with the additional storage, HDC also purchased an 8,000 BPH fill conveyor, and 8,000 BPH shipping. Congratulations to Dwight Foster at North Gower Grains on his latest project! We are very excited about this expansion, which includes an additional10,000 BPH receiving, an 8,000 BPH dry leg, and a GSI Model 7000 tower dryer. This large dryer has diameter of 24' and a maximum drying capacity of 4,200 BPH at 10 points moisture removal, or 7,000 BPH at 5 points. With this addition, North Gower Grains now has a total receiving capacity of 35,000 BPH

Horst Systems is working on a significant expansion at Faircrest Farms in 2013. This project included a GSI 4718 tower dryer, wet bin unload and elevator, new dry leg, and 15,000 BPH receiving. They also added a 60-30 commercial storage bin, with a maximum capacity of 203,493 bushels. The 4718 dryer has a maximum burner capacity of 46,138,000 BTU, with three 75 HP fans. The maximum drying capacity is 4,700 BPH at 5 points removal, or 2,820 BPH at 10 points removal. Link to delete content:
