Horst Systems is working on a significant expansion at Faircrest Farms in 2013. This project included a GSI 4718 tower dryer, wet bin unload and elevator, new dry leg, and 15,000 BPH receiving. They also added a 60-30 commercial storage bin, with a maximum capacity of 203,493 bushels.
The 4718 dryer has a maximum burner capacity of 46,138,000 BTU, with three 75 HP fans. The maximum drying capacity is 4,700 BPH at 5 points removal, or 2,820 BPH at 10 points removal.
